Our Story:
Coach Hernando Ferreira founded Divine Youth Development Inc. with a vision to provide opportunities he didn’t have as a young boxer. Starting in a small garage, he trained kids for local, regional, and national tournaments, using boxing as a metaphor for life. Today, we continue to shape young athletes into champions—both in the ring and in life
About Divine Youth Development Inc.
The coach began boxing when he was young. After having children, he introduced his kids to the sport as well. He now trains youth in a small garage space and regularly takes them to compete in local, regional, and national fights. However, the limited space has become a challenge, and a larger facility is needed.
To the coach, boxing is more than a sport—it’s a metaphor for life. He uses it to teach life lessons in a way that young people can understand. Although he had a deep love for boxing growing up, he lacked the financial resources and support to pursue it fully. That experience inspired him to make a difference for the next generation.

Youth Boxing Academy:
- Our boxing training programs develop discipline, strength, and confidence. We train youth for USA Boxing tournaments, including Golden Gloves, Junior Olympics, and Ringside competitions.
Mentorship & Character Development:
- We instill life skills through faith-based mentorship, helping youth grow into strong, confident leaders. Our coaches serve as positive role models, guiding young athletes on and off the ring.
Community Engagement & Volunteer Mentorship:
- We partner with organizations, sponsors, and volunteers to create a strong support system for youth. Whether through coaching, mentorship, or donations, you can make an impact in a young person’s life.
